Slide 5 - A comunidade Scrum

É interessante que o Scrum por si só está construindo comunidades de práticas. Nós temos um programa de treinamento para certificação ScrumMaster e até maio deste ano (2005) alguns milhares de ScruMasters foram certificados em todo o mundo. Eles são em número muito maior agora.

Realmente o Scrum está se espalhando e crescendo bastante. Para cada ScrumMaster certificado existem provavelmente ao menos 10 ou 20 que não são. Assim, podemos dizer que hoje existem em torno de 10 ou 20 mil ScrumMasters liderando projetos atualmente.

It is interesting that Scrum itself is building a community of practices. We have a certified ScrumMaster training program and as of May of this year there is a couple of thousands ScrumMasters that have been certified all over the world. There is many more now.

So it's really spreading out and becoming quite large. For every certified ScrumMaster there is probably at least ten or twenty that aren't certified. So you can say that there is somewhere between ten or twenty thousand ScrumMasters probably leading projects today. And it is probably very conservative, so there is many more that we don't even know about.
